Brian Arbuckle has been producing award-winning, custom furniture since 1999. His career started in Anchorage, Alaska where he and his wife made furniture for their home during the long winter season.  When Brian returned to Arvada, Colorado in 2003, he expanded his woodworking career to include projects for friends and family and now makes pieces for commission clients and local galleries.

While woodworking is still a part-time hobby, Brian plans to convert to full time furniture making in the next few years.  His work has been shown in Colorado woodworking shows and galleries winning “Best in Show”, “People’s Choice”, and numerous nominations for both categories through the years.

Brian was a self-taught woodworker but has expanded his capabilities by taking classes at the Red Rocks Fine Woodworking program.  He works alone at nights and on weekends in his one-man garage based woodshop.

Outside of woodworking, Brian is Vice President of an International Engineering Company.  He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado and a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP). Brian was also an Engineering Officer in the U.S. Army. He has achieved his BS Degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and his MS Degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.
