Biography

Brian Arbuckle has been producing award-winning, custom furniture since 1999. His career started in Anchorage, Alaska where he and his wife made furniture for their home during the long winter season.  When Brian returned to Arvada, Colorado in 2003, he expanded his woodworking career to include projects for friends and family and now makes pieces for commission clients and local galleries.  He moved his woodshop to Glenwood Springs, Colorado in 2020 where he builds amazing furniture for clients in the Rocky Mountains from Vail to Aspen. 

His work has been shown in Colorado woodworking shows and galleries winning “Best in Show”, “People’s Choice”, and numerous nominations for both categories through the years.

Brian trained as a woodworker for 15 years as a student of world-renowned instructors earning him credentials as a Master Craftsman, Master Joiner, Master Finisher, and Master Turner.

        Outside of woodworking, Brian is Vice President of an International Engineering Company.  He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado and a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP). Brian was also an Engineering Officer in the U.S. Army. He has achieved his BS Degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and his MS Degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.
